Instagram insights

The extension reads the active Instagram Reel URL when you open it and requests available insights directly from Instagram using your browser session. The extension does not read Instagram cookies and never posts or edits anything on Instagram. We do not receive your Instagram password, session cookies, raw insights, thumbnails or exported files on our server. Insights are temporarily cached in extension memory. PNG and JSON exports are saved through your browser to your device.

Diagnostics

To identify failures, the service accepts diagnostic reports containing a random installation identifier, unique event identifier, extension version, timestamp, operation stage and an allowlisted error code. Reports exclude page URLs, Reel identifiers, analytics, cookies, authorization headers and raw exception messages. Reports are retained for up to 90 days. Repeated delivery of the same event is deduplicated.

Feedback

Feedback and uninstall surveys are optional. We store the selected reason and any message you submit for up to 180 days. Do not include private information, passwords or payment details. Uninstalling the extension does not cancel a subscription.

Payments

No ReelCurve account or email-code login is required. A random secret stored in the extension authorizes access to its purchases; the server stores a hash of that secret and Stripe customer, checkout and subscription references. Stripe collects payment and receipt information. We do not receive full card numbers. The selected free Reel identifier and its calendar day are stored locally to provide one free Reel per day; this identifier is not sent to our billing server. Clearing extension storage removes its activation secret. Contact support before reinstalling or moving browsers.

Service providers and security

The website and diagnostic service run on our hosting infrastructure. Infrastructure providers may process connection information to deliver and secure requests. Diagnostic records are accessible only through an authenticated operator endpoint. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell personal information or use Instagram data for advertising.

Your choices

You may disable technical reports in extension Settings, uninstall the extension, delete local exports, and decline feedback. Contact support with your diagnostic installation identifier to request deletion of diagnostic records. Legal payment-record obligations may require separate retention.

Limited use

Our use and transfer of information received through the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
